Asylum London Wedding and St Barts Brewery – Yasmin & David

When Yasmin and David first got in touch with me about their Asylum London wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited – they were planning a really fun and stylish wedding with a beautiful ceremony inside The Asylum London.

Getting ready

I rocked up at morning prep, where the girls were getting ready and it was super chilled. They were all having a drink and just enjoying the morning! Yasmin wore a stunning Sottero and Midgley gown with a veil that had beautiful flower details on. The bridesmaids were wearing all slightly different style dresses in the same deep red colour which looked perfect for a winter wedding!

The ceremony

The wedding took place at The Asylum London, and was a venue I have been looking forward to photographing at for ages. It’s a stunning location, with beautiful stained glass windows and original walls. It was a winter wedding, but we were treated to some winter sun that was streaming through the windows and lighting up the room in a beautiful golden glow. I can’t tell you how much I love this venue! It was also beautifully decorated with flowers, that had the same wintery vibe but looked amazing with the sunlight.

The reception

The wedding reception took place at St Barts Brewery, which is a really cool pub in London. The guests all took a bus ride from The Asylum London over to the pub, where they were supplied with gins and beers (the perfect travel drinks!). Once at St Barts Brewery all the guests set up camp, where there were various cocktails and a live band later on for some excellent dance floor action!

I had the best time photographing this London wedding and I can’t thank you both enough for choosing me! I must also say thanks again to my second shooter for the day Ania Oska Photgoraphy – it’s always a pleasure shooting with you!
