Chateau De La Chevallerie, France Wedding Photography.
This is one of those absolutely beautiful french weddings that I adore so much. Patricia and Nicholas got married in the summer in the beautiful Chateau De La Chevallerie, and they incorporated so many pretty french details.
The Chateau de la Chevallerie has been a chateau on the site since the 17th century, and the beautiful dining hall, rustic stone work and stunning gardens made it irresistible. The chateau had accommodation and camping areas so that their guests could travel and stay on site – making it super easy for everyone.
They made many of the decorations themselves, including a ton of bunting made by Patricia’s mum – and all the beautiful signage.
The dress Patricia wore was stunning, it was a Watters gown with lace and sparkle in just the perfect amounts and looked stunning on.
They were able to have their legal ceremony in the local France village in the mayors office, which certainly added to the very french feeling of the day. They also had a cascade de champagne and a fantastic croquembouche wedding cake (which was made for them by a family member as a present) – both of which are more traditions typical of a France wedding.
For me, as a wedding photographer travelling over to one of my favourite countries for another beautiful France Wedding – it was a dream! Thank you for having me xxx
