Sarah and Alex – Venue: Casali Di Colle San Paolo, Italy Wedding.
Well, what I can say about this wedding. Right now it is a miserable, cold Monday in January – Blue Monday to be precise (it’s an actual thing, check it!) and I am breaking my blogging silence because I think if any day needs an Italian wedding to look at, today is that day.
I met Sarah a while back on the wedding scene (I’m a photographer, Sarah is an events manager at a local venue – our paths were destined to cross) and when she got in touch to say she was having her wedding in Italy, would I be her photographer I couldn’t have answered quick enough!
Casali Di Colle San Paolo is set deep in the hills of Umbria, so lots of twisty and steep roads (good job my husband came to drive me, I would have almost certainly rolled the car down the side of the hill) – but when you get to the top, it is worth every second. The views are incredible! You couldn’t dream of a more perfect setting to get married in.
Anyway, it was amazing. It was naturally styled to perfection by Sarah (including miniature Colin Caterpillar cakes as favours), and we were treated to that infamous Italian golden hour which lasts WAY longer than it does in England.
Also, everyone having tequila shots before the speeches should give you an idea of the type of party this wedding was (clue, the best kind!).
Sarah and Alex, thank you both for having me – you two are completely perfect for each other!
