Ceremony – Chelsea Old Town Hall, London
Joanne and Adam decided to elope at the start of this year, it was a fairly last minute decision – however, having been together since university and engaged for the past 6 years, in their own words “it was a long time coming” :-)
Joanne told me that they hadn’t even planned to get married when they did, they were actually just planning a trip to Iceland, then thought they’d book a nice lunch at The Fat Duck before they went, and then thought – why not get married that day too. So there we have it!
They decided to have their ceremony at Chelsea Old Town Hall, and in true London elopement style, also needed to grab a witness from outside. Luckily, they found the sweetest lady Mrs Rose, who hadn’t been to a wedding in over 10 years and was more than happy to sit in on their vows.
After their ceremony we hopped on the Tube and had a little walk around, ending up at The Barbican.
As soon as I met up with Joanne and Adam in the morning they both had these lovely smiles on their faces that never left and I had the best time photographing them for their London elopement.
Thank you for having me, I hope you both enjoyed your lunch and you got to see the Northern Lights in Iceland. xxx
