Heather and Nick got married at the beautiful Merriscourt in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. It was a beautiful sunny day and when I arrived at Merriscourt to see the gorgeous setting I knew it was going to be wonderful.
I met Heather on the morning to see the final parts of hair and makeup for herself and her lovely bridesmaids being done. The bridesmaids dresses were a pretty powder blue colour which went perfectly with the rest of the day.
Heather and Nick bought and arranged all the table flowers themselves (amazing!) but their bouquets and buttonholes were done by their florist, and they were stunning! I just love the English garden colours and the wild feel to them. So so pretty!
Nick was in his full military suit which the rest of his groomsmen wore too, they also incorporated some military traditions into the wedding which was a lot of fun to see.
Both Heather and Nick were super lovely and very easy to photograph, you can see the happiness all over their faces. At point during the bride and groom portraits the wind took Heathers veil off and planted it firmly onto the building roof – luckily they both saw the funny side, and thankfully we were able to climb up and get it down. (Thank you, Rowan!)
I absolutely loved photographing their wedding at Merriscourt, thank you so much for having me! :-) x
