The Perch Oxford.
Ollie and Jess are probably some of the most likeable people I’ve ever met – from the very first meeting we were chatting away and I went away feeling like I’d always known them, so I had been counting down to their wedding day for a while. As expected it was a day absolutely filled with laughter and it really was a pleasure to photograph.
The ceremony was held at the Oxford Town Hall, which is a beautiful building in the centre of Oxford. From there everyone got on a vintage bus to travel to The Perch.
The Perch Oxford is a venue I’ve been to a few times (as a guest as well as a wedding photographer) and it is one of Oxfordshire’s little gems. It is set just back from the river and is in the most beautiful surroundings. The marquee where the reception is held always looks amazing but Jess and Ollie had decorated it with beautiful rose gold touches – including dinosaur table numbers. There were lots of hand made details around with beautiful rustic flowers, and my favourite part of the wedding – Colin the caterpillar wedding cakes!
Jess wore a beautiful blush coloured wedding dress with fresh flowers in her hair, and Ollie had a very smart blue suit – everything came together perfectly.
Ollie and Jess – thank you both for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. It was the best day!! x
