A vintage rustic inspired bridal shoot | Wedding Photography Oxfordshire

A little while ago I found myself desperately wanting to do my own styled shoot – I was feeling all inspired by lots of vintage rustic wedding details recently. I had this vision in my head of what I wanted to create and without having a wedding of my own to plan (*cough cough*) – I needed another outlet!

So after speaking to a few people, I decided to do it.

The perfect location was just a ten minute drive up the road – the beautiful village of Brill, Oxfordshire. The hill to be exact! I’ve been up to Brill a few times for different shoots, and also other times for walks – it is stunning up there, you can see for miles over the countryside. Very English, very rustic.

It was SO much fun to do, and i’m over the moon with the final photos!! It’s always a little worrying having an idea in your mind and trying to make sure it comes out in photos the way you had envisioned it – but it really is just what I had in mind :-)

Ok – so a few shout outs…. The crowns I used during the shoot were from Stephanieverafter – they have some gorgeous pieces, and we were lucky enough to be able to use a few. If you are looking for flower crowns, go there now and see her beautiful work!

I also had a real life model to work with (I know!) it was totally different for me – but Chloe was just wonderful, so calm and although it was a very laid back shoot – she was super professional. (Thank you Chloe)

I managed to get an amazing hair and MUA on board – the lovely Debbie Mac, who actually was a pretty amazing assistant throughout the whole shoot. Debbie – lets definitely do this again soon!!

The beautiful naked cake came from Ami the cake fairy, and I can definitely vouch that is tasted as good as it looked!! (The BEST buttercream ever) Ami was gold, I basically only gave her 2 days notice and she still managed to make time to create the most perfect cake with fresh fruit and flowers for me!
